'Two Turtle Doves' lino cut design sketch

I've finally finished the design for my lino cut print. The design is based on a picture I found of a single turtle dove with its tail feathers fanned out, which I initially thought would work well as part of a pair for a Christmas card design: "two turtle doves". Once I'd started drawing out the idea, I decided it would make a better Valentine's themed print, with repetition of hearts in the birds' wings, in the symmetry of their 'kiss', and in the border. I'm looking forward to finally getting cutting....watch this space!
